I want people to know about this footage so they can make an infomotive decision in whether or not to see the film when it is released. With the use of CGI nowadays it is completely unacceptable and unprofessional to put any kind of animal under this amount of obvious stress. It has also been stated that 3 other german shepherds were used in production, along with various other breeds and in my opinion another dog should have been tried in the scene to see how they coped. This dog's characteristics were obviously not compatible with what it was being asked to do and no dog should be put into that position for film. The video shows a "trainer" trying to coax/drag the dog into a rapid water pool of some kind which obviously had a very stressful impact on the dog.

The report does state that the handling of the dog on the edge of the pool “should have been gentler and signs of stress recognised earlier”, but it confirms that the two scenes were shot at different times.
